People Analytics, and its Relevance in a Globally Distributed Operating Model
The presentation is aimed at strategic HR leaders, CHROs and HRDs, and those businesses considering establishing a distributed operating model to bring in efficiencies. Specifically, HR and operations teams looking at scaling geographically, investing or divesting in the business models through HR process and analytics.
Lebara has, over the last 3 years, incubated three products and established a global operating model to do so. To self-fund our growth, we undertook divestment and investment (product – country launch and restructure, resizing) at the same time. This also meant that we looked at the triad of operations – offshoring, outsourcing and nearshoring – to gain geographical and cost advantages over our competitors. This was a huge change management programme led by HR in terms of processes, policies, ways of working and analytics that helped establish the change.
This presentation will cover:
• The Operating model challenge for global mid-size organisations
o The move from a Flat World to a Bumpy World. Businesses are no longer fighting ceteris paribus, and the next disruption comes from within
• The Lebara Model, and why we did it
o Lebara’s unique challenge and opportunity, and what it means for your business if you are – or have been – in a similar situation
• Identifying ‘Changenemies’
o Who fights the change? And how do you fight back?
o How to overcome resistance and obstacles using analytics?
Comms, Comms and More Comms
• The Cultural Conundrum & Analytics
o Diversity in thought, culture and data analytics
o The mistakes we made and the ones we avoided
• Is it “happily ever after”?
o From GOD (Globally Operated model) to SOD (Seamless Operating Model)
o The continuing role of analytics
Attend this session, and learn:
• How to identify if you need GOD (cost challenge, people challenge, highly competitive industry etc)
• What a CXO or CHRO/HRD needs to be prepared for
• What can be the road-blocks and how to overcome them
• Analytics, processes and ways of working that work – and those that don't
